Hoping someone can help me identify a couple things growing on the rock. First is white that looks like flower and when a fish swims by it quickly goes back into the rock. The other thing is a round white ball that has thorns that is growing in a hole in rock.

the first pic is something I have lots of. I have been told that they are a type of feather duster.the 2nd pic Sorry don't have a clue.

Would agree on feather duster in the first pic...Second pic, well, cant make anything out on it. Can you get an in-focus picture for us? From your description, i would tend to lean towards a pineapple sponge. Attached a pic of one of these for comparison.

Thought it was a feater duster but have others in tank that look different than it. Will try to get a better picture of the thorny ball. Thank you so much for the information.

more pictures

Hoping this picture came out a little better. We bought 150 gallon tank already established and this all new to me. When we bought it the person didn't take care of it like he should of and now that everything is good on tank, I have things popping up everywhere. Also added a picture of a pink thing in the tank and was hoping someone could tell me what it is, also have a different type of feather duster that started growing. Thank you so much for the information. If you have any other suggestion for me it would be greatly appreciated.

bog: yes, feather dusters come in all shapes and sizes.
fish: as far as the little ball, it id definitely some type of sponge. It's just a harmless little filter feeder.
The pink thing is coraline algae. It's a calcerous algae that will soon grow all over your rock and walls.
