help identify this please.

hi can someone help me in identifying this creature if you cane see it, i couldnt get a better shot with the camera, but it looks to be some type of coral and it has small white stalks and looks like a little flower coming out of it and then it goes back in when disturbed there is about twenty of these on this LR on one section only and they are brownish in color?

Looks a lot like Cladocora arbuscula, a very hardy stony coral. Usually comes in with aquacultured live rock from the Gulf. Is this from TBS or Gulf-View?

As long as nothing eats it, and you keep the Ca and alkalinity at good levels, it is very easy to keep. Can make use of light, but doesn't absolutely require it.
 
Well I decided to try and Id them. In "A Practical Guide to Corals" by Eric Borneman the look like the Galaxea astreata on page 24. Looking at Galaxea astreata on page 263 of "Aquarium Corals" by Eric Borneman I am not so sure. They look different.
