Help! Im out of ideas

oh yea, you can use a rinsed out trash bag if he is that big. but make sure that the bag isnt too thin because it could rip the bag with its "razors". Or a bucket? just throwing things out.

My girlfriend's cousin owns an LFS and one of her best friends works at one, so I'm hoping one of them will come help

Every time I have called my LFS they tell me that they cant take him because they have KOI or some other excuse. I imagine that he will be fine in the 30. My husband had one a long time ago that grew to be around 15" and he was in the same 30 gallon that we have now. I dont mind him, I actually like him, he is really cool. So I think I might keep him more for looks than working. I will just feed him algea discs. I just dont know if having another cleaner in there with him and some snails will be too much.

The major problem is the amount of wastes he produces...you spend so much time needlessly cleaning for a fish that eventually won't eat algae...or at least i do...but if ya like him, ya like him...can't deny that

they get to about 2 inches and are hilarious, i highly recommend them

Do you have a picture of your tank? Its just that you seem so "recomendy" of your fish that I want to see what all of the fuss is about.

I have one of my 75 Gallon, but not my 26 yet...Someone's coming to get the pleco today and I have to give it a good cleaning, but I'll take pictures later and put them up...I actually don't have pristella's anymore, but they're quite nice in color and behavior....I guess I just like the fish I have a bunch to be such an advocate...

I like blackskirt tetras. They are very active and easy to see since they are larger than other tetras. I do like the pristella tetras too. So cute! Maybe you should just get a huge school of neons or cardinals. That would really be something.

I think what I have so far is that I want a school of either pristella's or harlequin rasbora's, and the maybe an unknown # of either ram's or dwarf gouramis (around 6 or so, dont know yet) but then I still have to decide on a centerpeice fish or two. I think I want something that doesnt get bigger that 6 inches long but i dont know if that is set in stone. I would want something that is not very aggressive, like angelfish, i read that they were aggressive but they were just protecting babies, they werent too bad. I am interested in agelfish again but I want to explore other options first. Let me know what you think, any changes, advice or warnings would be awesome. thanks.
