HELP! - Kribs fighting - 2.5 week old fry

Do you have any dither fish?

dither fish aka target fish other species of fishes in with the kribs was what the previous poster was asking but if i read your 55gal tank setup on your signature i am assuming you have plenty of fish in with the kribs, dither fish are fish like rainbowfish in the same tank with the cichlid and fry so that the parents will focus on the dithers and not each other or the fry sorta give them something to protect against, tell the BF to get over it aye, hehehehe, always room for one more tank aye..

I had my krib pair raise fry in a community 55 and the same thing happens everytime. After the 2-3wk mark the female wants to raise the fry alone. I can tell you from experience that it'll be easy to move the male to the 10 gallon and that would probably work fine. But you're looking at months until the fry get big enough to sell/trade off. So the male would be in the 10 for a long time, because as long as she is caring for the fry she will see the male as a threat. This is what I would do:

A: move the male to the 10 for 2wks, the fry will grow a good bit by then. After that remove all the fry to the 10 gallon and re-introduce the male back into the 55. The fry will grow fine in the 10 gallon and should be eating flake food by themselves by then.

B: move the fry to the 10 now, if they're close to the 3wk mark they should be eating flake food fine by now also.

C: buy a tank divider and section off a portion of the tank just for the female and fry. Again the divider will have to be in place a while. My female krib wouldn't leave the fry alone for months and raised them the whole time.

either way goodluck! I'd avoid the fry net floating deal. These fry grow fasT! and it would only cause you hassle moving something into that.
