I have been looking for German Blue Rams for the last few weeks but haven't found anyone who carries them. One of the lfs gets them in sometimes but haven't had any recently. Can anyone recommend a good lfs in the Chicagoland area? I live in the south suburbs but I will travel to a good lfs. Thanks in advance.......... :help:

I know Reef Aquatics in Woodridge (right off 355 3 miles south of 88) carries them from time to time. I may have seen them at Scott's Petshop out by Brookfield zoo. Sorry for all the unsureness, I've been stranded out in a cornfield for the past 4 months and my brain hasn't gotten used to stores and people yet.
I actually saw some at a PetSmart (or was is Petco, they're right down the street from each other) in Darien.
Worse comes to worse, the Cichlid auction up in arlington heights is coming up and they're guarenteed to be there

Captial pet in CC hills has them. Petland ( by staples) in tinley park actually has really nice males ( I do not buy fish from chains but if did I would get them). If you are looking for pairs got The Ark in Merriville Ind has the BEST that I've seen. Most places do not carry female due to the lack of color. There's a post on gcca.net ( chicago's cichlid group) for them.
