I recently figured out what is killing off my snails and the smaller hermit crabs... Turns out to be a mantis that is living in a small diameter, but long cave in one of my rocks...

I was told that a freshwater dip was the best way to get rid of it... What do I have to do exactly? Do I need to de-chlorinate the water? Will this kill off everything on the rock?

Is there another way to catch this bugger? Anyone want a mantis once it's caught? lol.... :)

Thanks!

basically, you just take out the live rock and dip it in some fresh water, thus causing the shrimp to run out of his hiding spot. BUT beware, this can also kill some stuff on your live rock.
