help me id fish

im going to try and get a pic tomorrow
but i think at the lfs it was called a red tailed p???????
it has like a redish pink tail the rest of the fish is silver they get about 8 inches

Looks like a sort of rasbora, but i dont think any rasbora's get over a couple or so inches.
