Very cool, thank you! Are there different varieties of this plant, or do all anubias look the same or similar? I am sooo appreciative of how much better it has done in my tank than some others. Thanks again!sarcare said:
i think its ether, Spatterdock Dwarf Water Lily (Nuphar pumila) or Tiger Lotus (Nymphaea lotus) both from the same family Nymphaeaceae
If it's as big as the heater makes it look, it is an Anubias barteri. There are several varieties of barteri (nana, petite, glabra, and so on), that is regular barteri.

yup, don't burry the rhizome in the substrate. that part of the plant will also need light. i have a variety of anubias as well. i used some unwaxed, unminited floss, tied it to a rock and placed it in my desired aread. the roots will eventually grow out and burry itself into the substrate.
