Help me plant my tank.

Thebigshh I know what you mean about the display tanks. I've seen alot of very nice planted discus tanks and thats what I want to have. The reason why I'm hesitant about the Co2 injection is because I dont want my discus to get HITH. I've read on some other forums that Co2 can cause HITH. If you or someone else can disprove this I will reconsider using Co2.

I've never heard of CO2 causing HITH, strange, any chance you can back up this claim? I've been injecting CO2 without any issues with HITH in any of my fish, including my cory cats The only fish that have died since injecting CO2 has been already very weak fish.

Thebigshh, Thats not always true. You can have high light without CO2 or ferts. Ferts ARE needed when you have so many plants that it starts to suck all the nutrients out. Otherwise, no point in dosing ferts.

And regrading the BBA going away, Excel has been show to be very destructive against vals and algae, among other plants that I can't think of.

It doesen't look to hard to use and I can attach the CO2 tanks from my paintball marker.

So I upgrade my lights to 3.5 WPG and use CO2 injection what kind of plants can you suggest?
