In the near future, I plan on setting up a 10g shrimp tank. Im really into setting up the tank to look as natural as it can possibly be. So either the red cherry or the blue will be my choice, I cant seem to decide at the moment. What substrate and plants should I use to make it look right?

Dark substrates help the shrimps colors really stand out. Plants are great when it comes to shrimp it gives them cover and something to feed off of. If you're new to plants start with some low light stuff and work your way up. Mosses are great because they are pretty low light and not too demanding. I think RCS are cheaper and a bit easier to obtain than blue pearl shrimp. Depending on your water paramaters depends on what type of shrimp you'd be best off keeping.
