HELP!!!! most of my baby frontosa died

can somebody help me with whats wrong. i have(had) 25 baby frontosa in a 10 g tank. they were an inch in size and the only ones that survived were 2 frontosa and my 3 tropheus with them. ok so the temp was 72 degrees, i started to feed them spirulina a month ago because of my trophs diets. a week before they died i chose to move 6 fronts to my show tank (60g). they are all fine but 10 min ago i saw all my babies in a pile dead on the bottom of the tank. they were alive this morning before i took off to school. can somebody please explain what could have gone wrong.

ps. i have kept the baby fronts for 7 months without any issues
 
How often do you water change? What are you feeding the tank? How large are the trophs?
 
the trophs are 1 1/2 inches, fed all the fish spirulina, water change about once every 3 weeks. changed 1/4 of the water every time. also arent trophs suppose to be sensitive so i would have imagined they wouldn't have made it but, all 3 tropheus and 2 fronts survived.

Incorrect! 7 month old Frontosa that are only 1" is a serious issue.
 
correct..... not big tank for as many fish and maybe not 1 inch its more like 1 1/2......thats sort of average i have a few bigger. my parents ive had for 3 years and their only 5-6 inches. my fish arent in huge tanks
 
The size of the tank has no bearing on how big the fish will get. The quality of the water they live in does however.
