ive have a silver aro about 9 inches long ive had him for about 6 months ive noticed the past 5 days hes just not eating. ive always fed him shrimp, pellets and freeze dried blood worms which hes always loved . now he just wont eat. my water conditions are perfect and hes in a large 210 gallon tank. anyone know if they just go thruogh phases like this. hes swimming fine and acting normally just not eating

hmm... i know some fish (such as eels) will go on hunger strikes where they wont eat anything for a while (like a week). i don't know if this ever happens for arowanas. it may just be normal?

Try the starvation, and offer meatier foods when you break the fast. He could be bored of the processed foods he's a carnivore. Feeders are known for disease, but fresh fish / shrimp from the supermarket are great treats for predators. Cut to the appropriate size. Good luck.
