I had 4 convicts (2 females and 2 males) in my tank, one female died and the other one had babies. Now the males are beating each other up. My one single one is beaten up hardcore, his tail is gone, his fins are hardly there and his scales are peeling off. I seperated him and placed him in a different tank and he's doing alright now but still looks just as horrible. Is there ANYTHING I can do to make him better or will it just take time for something to happen??

its a 30 gallon tank. I already removed all the other fish so its just the pair and fry now...is there anything I can do with my convict? Should I give him some salt and raise the temperature? Also would you happen to know how fast and long it takes the fry to get bigger??

you should take out the single one because the breeding conshave occupied the whole tank and the single one will be killed if he is not taken out. that is y the other female con died. cons are VERY VERY VERY aggressive during breeding i cannot stressthat enough.

I already took him out, I was basicly just wondering what to do to heal him...Ive heard to use salt?? and bring up the temp to 84F

use some salt and stress coat.
