HELP!!! need response fast please

Is it already filled with water and fish? I would just take a few gallons out and get some strong people to move it over. It's not really safe to move tanks with water in it let alone fish but moving it one foot should be fine!

Thanks..I have moved a 6 gallon tank with 4 fish in it(yes I know that has too many fish in it but that was my first tank!) into the next room. The fish did fine. Do you absolutely have to move it over?

If it's a glass tank, I would try to remove as much water as you safely can to reduce the stress on the glass as much as possible. Don't push in the middle of the pane, put the pressure on the corners equally as you push it. Good luck and be careful!

I moved two 20 g long tanks last week. I took as much water out as possible, made holes in the gravel for the fish as the water was low and I picked up the bottom of the tank on both sides and moved it. I was able to move them by myself too.

I had Roseline Barbs in one and I took them out as they freak anytime I just change the water. they are all fine and I did the move a week ago.

Are you moving the entire stand or just the tank... Wither way drain as much water out as possible (as all ready stated). Be careful if it is glass you can stress a seam and cause a leak... Good luck
