Help! Nitrate levels have been high for months! How will he make it another day?

(You can add multiple pictures in one post) That water was awfully cloudy. Did he seem to appreciate the larger WC? I didn't see the green slime you were referring to. What is the last pic with the napkin, where is that from?
Oh whoops!... That's the cloudiness from when I took one of the filter pads out to replace it with the nitrazorb...
Yes he loved it! I think someone told me to do 25% until the nitrate goes down to 20 And then I have to do 10% every other day until the filter cycles...
There wasn't much green slime... The slime I wiped off was in the napkin. It's from the part of the filter where the water comes out, and from my light hoods...
