Help! Paradise fish food?

I have researched over and over on what to feed my Paradise fish, and everyone is so vague! I have tried dried baby shrimp, freeze dried bloodworms, algae pellets, even attempted goldfish pellets.. The ONLY thing he seems to eat is the Algae pellets..

I know they mostly need protein, but how do I provide that if he won't eat anything but algae?

Anyone have any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated!

That's funny, I have a problem getting mine to STOP eating the other fishes food. Mine eat everything and steal from the other fish.

I've heard that starving a stubborn fish for a few days then offering the food they wouldn't eat usually gets them to start eating it.

Okay, I am gonna try that.. I didn't feed him all day today until about half an hour ago and he devoured the food.. But is still skiddish about it, everything else about him\her seems perfectly fine.. I think he hasn't adapted to the new food, they were feeding him algae pellets at the pet store.. But I need to break him of that, lol!

Try Atison's Betta Pro. That should be pretty much a complete diet but you can supplement it with the other foods you already have.
