help picking fish

Although they tend to stick to the bottom and will hid initially, gobies will warm up to their surrojnding and be out more often. You could look into yellow watchmen, wheeler, yasha's... a lot of options here. Not sue how well that would work out if you are dead set on the blenny.

Depending on the dimesions of your tank you could also look into wrasses. Again a lot of options that are reef safe (six lines, blue-side fairies maybe even something like a radiant but it might get a little too big)
 
No not set on the blenny. I had a scooter blenny and returned him, and I like the way he sccoted around pecking at the rocks.

He does have a fairy wrasse thats $19. I only have one LFS that sells SW fish and they have moslty damsels,clowns,chromis,mollies....and very few corals. Thats why I was looking at this guy. His prices seem cheap and shipping $38.00 for as much as I order.

Ooh, those Scooter Blennies can get hard to feed. Mine was fine for about 7 months then choked and died. I saw it all happen. What was I supposed to do? :'(

But do what I didn't do and try some invertabrates instead! Get an emerald crab or something!

Or, do what I ALWAYS wanted to do, but still haven't, get a Watchmen Goby and a Shrimp, It looks like it'd be a ton of fun to watch.
 
I would think your LFS might be able to order you what you want which would save you on shipping. Can't give you any feedback on the seller. Have you looked at liveaquaria.com or bluezooaquatics.com. These are highly regarded online retailers for overall health, shipping, service and guarantees.

If you don't plan on having a lot of corals you could look into some of the pygmy angles (flame angel & coral beauty are beautiful fish). There is a slight risk of these pecking on corals but some are perfect citizens. Be careful with any pseudo. They can be fairly aggressive especially in a smallish and fairly well stocked tank. If you must have one add it last. Good luck with the search!
 
well, that ebay selling looks really nice! After reading some feed back everyone says the items are in amazing condition. The only problem is that you don't really get to see the fish before you buy. And I don't think alot of them say the size!

But the amazingly cheap prices make me very very very very tempted to buy my next fish off here!
 
I research the fish on liveaquaria (and a few other places), then I would buy from saltwaterfish.com

No, you don't get to see them, but they are supposed to be parasite free, healthy specimens. You can also get a few aquacultured (tank raised) fish at both those websites.
