Help-plant ID

Sure, if you want. But it is perfectly safe to dry dose too. Like authaml mentioned on another thread you can also pre-measure everything out for a week or 2 (or 10!) and fill up a weekly pill box so all you have to do is open that day and dump!

Basically, yes. I don't know the break downs by heart but I would imagine they are comparable.

Yup

That's too much for shipping. Go to "my Orders", click on the order number and at the bottom is a message thingy. Tell him to please refund the shipping overages. I forgot how much he charges for shipping but he does send shipping refunds if it cost less to ship, which it always does. But send the message now so he knows you know what is going on. :)

I already ask him why is the shipping so high, i haven't got a response yet, i was comparing the shipping of aquariumfertilizer.com and bobs was too much :-) do you always get your ferts from him?

I just did the math and as long as his shipping comes in under $12 you're good, comparatively anyway. I have only had to order ferts one time and it was before his store opened. Yeah it was awhile ago. I am a bad girl and forgot to fertilizer one day, then 2 days, 5 days, go on vacation and than it is months later with barely surviving plants and I start again. So ferts last a long time that way! :) But I intended to re order ferts with him and have placed several plants and fish orders with him (he always has holiday sales and a BIG black Friday special).

Do you have tiny measuring spoons? 1/8th tsp is not normally in a standard set is why I ask.

I dont think i have the 1/8th tsp, can you get that at a dollar store? :-)

Thanks again for all the help.. :-) oh boy... i started this thread by asking Plant ID and know ferts... whats next Co2!! LOL... i think i will not go that far.. i have other tanks to maintain :-)

I've never seen them at the dollar store but I am going today so I will check! They are usually called dash, pinch and smidgen. Bed, Bath and Beyond has them, mine didn't though, amazon has them too. Look around google you'll find them just don't be fooled by the heart ones with the same names, not the right size.

We sure did get far from that plant ID huh!? :D You're welcome and Good Luck!

Thanks for noticing I said that, but that's advice from The V. He does it so his wife can drop ferts while he's travelling for work.

A lot of people use that method, I did for awhile too. And being that kenshinH is a new user they probably don't know who "The V" is yet and instead of explaining all that I just left that part out. I TRY to shorten my responses, I really do. :D
