Help please! Brigg got out, she's hurt!!

Well.. she came out and she's eating.. she seems to be moving really weird.. like she's keeping her shell way down over her face.. hopefully she's just worn out and needs a rejuvenation, I'm sure this has been a very stressful day for her too =(

She's probably a little stressed. She should resume her normal parasnailing and such later.

I used a sheet of clear acrylic/ plastic, whatever, that was a door flap on a new kitty litter box, and cut it to fit my gaps in my tank lid. You could also use any translucent of transparent material you scavenge from a container, like sterilite, but you want to make sure it's never had soap or other chemicals on it.

I first use styrofoam plates to cut to make a pattern. Once I have just the shape I want using the styrofoam plates, I trace around that on the piece of plastic. Mine fit kind of tight at the tank rim and lid and around the HOB, and just kinda disappear when you look at it, which is nice.

Another option is to just use cut pieces of styrofoam plate and some duct tape. Not as pretty as the clear pieces of plastic but it works.

Oh, I always save anything that looks like that: thin translucent plastic from kitty litter door flaps, sterilite container lids, etc., for potential use on a fish tank, later.

Great ideas! Thanks! I actually have a glass top that's destined for my 75g whenever we get the stand made.. I just keep adding to it lol, I stole the plastic pieces out of there and made some tight fittings now.. I actually have thought that I should just give away my girls and only keep boys to avoid this ever happening again =( i feel so awful
