Help please! Gouramie Troubles!!!

Hi Vincent...
I'm new to the forum myself but I had trouble very recently with a dwarf gourami myself.
It could be the first symptoms of the dwarf gourami disease (DGD), hopefully not because in that case apparently there is nothing to do
I also hope mine wasn't well for something else because in case of DGD the female I still have is doomed...

AS you say the one with the dull color is also "fatter" would suggest it is a female and the male is overly aggressive with wanting to mate. If they had a bigger tank and heavily planted iwth spaces to hide then it would be ok. Otehrwise maybe only keep 1.

Weel I know for certian that both are males as the both have the coloring and spots of males but the smaller one is fatter and there is plenty of vegitation in the tank and now all they do is hide.
