Help please Identifying this fish.

ok, I got it working.

Now as this fish got older, the markings you see on the juvenile begin to fade considerably and other, new markings begin to appear. I have also been feeding this fish New Life Spectrum pellets as well as those color enhancing crumble things, so he has some really bright rainbow colors that are difficult to see in these pics. He also, right after he eats, has a dark pink line down the top of his dorsal.

He is in a temp 55gal home while I get his 75gal setup. He grew so stinkin fast!
Here's the pics.

Thanks for the pics. How has his temperment been growing up? Like I mentioned earlier, mine are a great addition to my community tank with no aggression.

I kept him and his brothers and sisters in the same tank with no other mates but some snails. During this time I never saw any real aggression other than the normal chasing each other around in a playful manner, not really a territorial or aggressive nature.

As they became bigger (very quickly!) I got rid of all but one because of space restrictions/requirements, and he lived by himself with some snails and a small common pleco. I saw him one time "taste" the pleco when it was newly placed in the tank. The pleco jumped and I think it gave the poor fish a mild heart attack and he never bothered him again. Again, I think this was merely curiousity more than aggressiveness. A week before I moved him into the next tank though I did find my 2" ramshorn shell laying on the bottom of the tank without a snail in it...

I now have him in a 55 gallon tank temporarily while a bigger home is in the works. This 55 gallon houses my mutant guppies (bent back fry and the such), least killifish reproduction explosion and a bunch of mystery snails and he shows no interest in them. He doesn't even acknowledge they exist. HOWEVER, in the past few weeks he has developed a distatse for regular community fish food and flake type food. He will now only eat carnivorous fish food, such as the pellets and the like. When I try to give him the fish food he grew up on now he spits it out and never gives it a second look. Which makes me wonder as time goes on, just how safe are those other little fishies...

But, back to the original question of what it is.
I have no idea.
