Hi! I've been interested in saltwater aquariums for some time now and recently brought a 60 gal. tank w/ stand and canopy. I like to ask if i should buy this filter package and if it is good enough.

(CPR Combination Package SYS 192 includes CY 192, CS 90 overflow, Bio-Bale, hose, Rio 2100 Pump, and Return Kit.)

Besides lightings, a wavemaker, protein skimmer, and a powerhead. What else do i need to set up this reef tank?

advices and help would be really appreciated.

I'd stay away from the CPR products. In my experience, the overflows don't hold the siphon well and are constantly filling with air. The fittings on the overflow I have leak no matter what I try as well.

You only need lights, sump, pump, overflow, and protein skimmer initially. You can add powerheads as needed. You don't need a wavemaker in my opinion.

If you're inclined to do it yourself, there's plenty of ideas on the forums.

I bought my lights off of Ebay from Hommby. Best price that I found and they work great.
