HELP please

My brothers tank,is perfect.Never had any problems,his fish are very healthy.I did go into all that before i used his spare filter.
Now thinking its lfs, pets at home,who sold me sick fish in the first place.If i did loose them all,would my tank be contaminated & would i have to start all over again ?
 
Well, don't add anymore until the current situation resolved.

If they all died you would have to think about breaking down the tank for a good clean and starting over, but you're a long way off that point.

The two sick ones may perhaps have just been slightly weaker fish and the stress of the move may have brought on the disease. Hopefully the others will remain healthy.
 
I did notice on my poor little fish,he had a dark red circle,on one side of him.Couldn,t make out if it was external or internal.
no other visible signs at all.so if it was ich wouldn,t i have seen white bits ?

Sorry to keep going on,but am trying to find out what it is,as another cherry barb is going the same way.

When was your last water change?
 
Lost another cherry barb today,so i am now thinking its possibly a bad batch that they came from.I also have another one that its happening to.
Its only affecting the cherry barbs,all other fish are doing great.

I bought a quarantine/hospital tank today,so i wont be adding anymore new fish straight into main tank....How long is best to wait with new fish,before adding to main tank.(not yet,i know until problem sorted)
 
take out the cherry barbs, put 'em all in the QT tank...you want to see 2 weeks without disease before adding anything.
