my convicts made a nest, and just laid eggs... no problem there. The problem is that they wiil get eaten in the tank they are in... Baby Predators!! So do I move the eggs? Wait till they hatch and save as many as I can? If I move the eggs, how? and what do I do? Do they need a tumbler?

1. the eggs will be protected by the parents...just like MG said if the parents feel the eggs are being threatened the parents will either scare away the other fish or eat the eggs...
2.You can wait and try and save as many as you can...If you want more convict fish, and depending on the size of the tank you have you might now be able to accommidate the fry when they get bigger...
3.Do you have a 10 gallon tank you can put the eggs in (with object they are deposited on) with the parents...and then you can remove the parents from the fry tank and put them back in the main tank..and you are probably better of doing this than the egg tumbler...parents will keep the eggs free of diseased or dead eggs or organisms...
4.Here is a link for egg tumblers...

ok work with me here, few keys on keyboard went insane and won't work. 2- N. enustus 1 1/2 in. 2- N. Liingstonii. 55 gallon. the conicts not usually in there but my boyfriend is gettin them. They been in there about a week while he makes room

eggs are on tank wall...
We only want one brood to keep a couple babies, few of them already have homes. Tank space is not issue, convicts running the house is! How long will it take fry to hatch?
