Help Please!

I'm new to this site and I actually started looking for help tonight when my daughter noticed that our med. sized goldfish had what looked like little tiny white spots on it. I became very concerned and got online to see if I could figure out what was wrong. It turns out to be ich. This is our first tank and we both love it very much. It is just a 10 gallon tank. We are so concerned about our little friends. Can someone help? Please!!

Good link, but I prefer the ones below; regular table salt is all you need. Treat for the recommended time even when it looks like the fish are free of spots.

Those links are good. I have a couple of favorites too. However, I selected the one I provided as it is coming directly from a vet that deals with the the C. Auratus species in particular. "Regular salt" typically contains iodine and is not recommended.

The objective is to add salt that does not contain additives.

Thumbs up on minimizing additives, however the table salt is perfectly safe and a heck of a lot cheaper than the "aquarium" stuff they shove down our throats.
