Sorry you just came across a little anal. I well expected someone out of so many people on this forum to know exactly what the problem was. I WASN'T trying to get people to research anything for me. Capiche?
 
lobo's suggestion was a very good guess but the information you gave was very vaugue- no one could have been possitive about your situation . . .

and do you think lobo just had that helpful photo sitting on the desktop ready for you or do you think there was some looking and website checking?

actualy it took about 10 sec for me to type in "red eye tetra" into google image search, i then just selected one that looked red, saw that it was some breeder's site, and tahts it... but yea, i had to do some research, but when has it been a bad thing to help someone out? i would hope that jungle is joking about the let you guyes do the reasearch for me, although sometimes people dont have enogh time...

although the fish nazi quote was pretty funny...
 
i don't have a problem helping people out- if you've noticed i go out of my way to do it on here all the time

it is the attitude of haughty ungratefulness that upsets me

i also feel that there are people who abuse this forum at times who are perfectly capable of doing a baseline amount of research before thier thread is posted so that the obvious posibilities are ruled out and the forum is used for genuinely confusing situations or instenses where conflicting information has made the results of research uncertain.

if it was that easy for you to find the picture and it was that obvious for jungle when he saw it- what was preventing him from doing it himself- it probably would have been quicker than asking the question here.

he very obviously and of his own admission doesn't want to do the work himself-

i admited already i was a bit cranky but he's a leech

Actually I did do some research I checked a few website database's for any symptoms where a fin might change colour but it was to no avail. It didn't occur to me to do an image search, sorry if I am not of the same IQ as you. The reason I replied with such a rude remark is because your statement was rude in itself and I did NOTHING to deserve it, (except you know come to a fish forum and ask about a problem im having with my FISH!!!!!!!)Once again I NEVER asked: hey could someone on this forum do some research for me? Does it not occur to you that someone could have encountered the same problem that I was having? Seriously I think you need to step down off of your pedestal and plant your **** feet in the ground (oh wait you wouldn't want to do that you might encounter a 'leech')
