My Female guppy used to be nice and fat and active(especially in eating), But now she is really thin, doesn't swim around as mch and doesn't eat nearly as much. I looked closely at her, and it looks like her scales are sticking out from her body as well. Her coloring has always been pale on her body, to the point of seeing through it,a nd on her head, It looks like in her brain there are some dark little pin hole sized spots. They may have been there before, though. You know how you never really notice all the details of your fish until they're sick, and you have to look more closely. All my other fish are fine, and I've had no changes to the tank as in new fish, plants or decorations. this tank has been established for several months.
Anyways, I would love some help out with this. I really don't want her to die-all of the guppies we ever get die, and my boyfriend is refusing to get any more because of it.
PS I did think she was pregnant, but she remained fat for several months, even after all the males died. When I noticed She was skinny, I looked for any babies, but didn't see any. I don't really think the other fish would have ate them as they are small as well-zebra danios, baby mollys and small opal gouramis, plus one tiny male guppy.
Thanks for any help!
