Help - Silver Shark problem

Hi,

I've got a Silver shark that's some how managed to get a stone stuck in it's mouth. I've had him out of the tank but it was to far down the throat to get at it without damaging something. When he's in the tank he's able to get it to the front of his mouth. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing that might help me? I'm assuming he's a gonner, as if I do manage to remove it, the risk of bacterial infection from grazes etc will be high.

I would be interested to know how people would deal with this as surelly the fish will starve if something isn't done asap.

He can get it to thr front of his mouth, but not out? Sorry--I'm confused...

Yeah you would have thought so, but I don't assume he's holding onto it for the fun of it, and it was defo stopping him eating this morning. I'm gonna see what he's like when I get home from work, was just wondering if anyone on the forum had any experience with this sort of problem.
