Hi y'all. So I bought some Malaysian trumpet snails on eBay. They came from Louisiana and arrived today. The post man left the box on my front steps instead of the warmer porch for some reason. It was about 15 degrees when I got home from work. The snails were in a Gatorade bottle that was surrounded by wood chips (like you'd put in a hamster's cage). I put them in my quarantine tank but they don't seem to be moving around at all. :(

Do you think they will come out of it or did I just lose 100 snails??:help2:

Might be DOA, but MTS are one of the strongest snails to survive anything you throw at them. Just give it another day or two and you will probably see them moving around, also try to put some food in there always helps!

OK I'll give them a couple days. Hope they come out of it. I'll put some cichlid food in there and a couple algea wafers. Maybe some food will wake them up :)
