hey every one i just want to get some imput of what to put in my tank. i have about $1500 to spend. I have a 80G Drilled tank with a 25G sump. Coralife lights. Days/Blues/Moon I get about 4wpg. 100lbs live rock 50lbs live sand. So far i have 2 maroon clowns, Lawnmoer blenny, 2 sandsifting starfish, Bubble tip anenome, Bubble coral,2 pepermint shrimp, and a cleaner shrimp. Im would like to make the tank as colorfull as possible. Iv been looking at lots of different things but there is so much to choose from lol. anyone have any sugestions?

There are so many options with your wattage. In my experience, stay away from mushrooms as they spread too much. Here are some options:

Green hammer coral - always a nice edition but get the kind with green tips.
Green bubble - whites are nice but nothing beats a green bubble under actinics.
torches, frogspawn, and zoos are hardy
sponges always add a lot of color. You can usually find red or orange pretty easily.
brain corals (open or closed) are nice.
long tentacle plates or pretty and resemble anemones without the movement.
organ pipes have a nice red base.
Then there is always acros (hard SPS).

With your setup you have a lot of options. Don't forget about a solid cleanup crew. Invest in that first as it will pay off on your water balance.

My 2 cents worth.

I beg to differ on the mushrooms. I started with 5 and ended up taking most of my rock out because I had over 400 of them after about 5 years. Unless your rock is really flat, its tough to get them out of the grooves. When you cut them as low as you can they simply add another head. Of course I am always open to other ideas to get rid of them because I still have about 75 of them in my tank.

Xenia are a little easier to remove in my opinion. Personally I like to put them on a flat rock with smaller rock around the main colony. You can then remove the smaller rock that they spread onto and sell them to the LFS!
