Help Vho Or Pc!!!!!!!

hello my name is luke and i cant decide what lights to put over my 2 30 g tanks pc or vho so im pulling out my hair trying to figure this out which gives you the best results? pc or vho i want to have some lps and some softies and a couple aenonmes so if ya could give me a hand id appreciate it thanks LUKE in Denver

power compacts, definitely! vho does'nt give enough light for lps corals.

ive been told otherwise that cf are not as good as vho i wish somebody would put together a good diy metal halide article with model numbers and stuff like that

For all practical purposes, VHO and PC put out about the same amount of light per watt. VHO is somewhat less efficient, but some like the look of the light better. Either will work for most LPS and soft corals. Neither is particularly good for anemones.

T5s are better than either, but still more expensive because the technology is still somewhat new to the hobby.

I foung some info on mh diy so thats what im gonna do2 175w setups for 140 bucks the m57 ballasts will fire the coralife mh bulbs 10-20k so thats what im gonna do
