It sounds like there is no bacteria at all growing. I would try and change your de chlor. Try some Prime. Normally in a cycling tank and a cycled tank the pad will be brown, and smell like soil because of the bacteria.

but Prime also removes ammonia which I though you dont want to do w a fishless cycle because you would be removing the bacterias food source.
Prime doesnt remove ammonia. It converts it into another form of ammonia that's safe for fish, and is available to the bacteria.
Ill try the prime, by the average when should you see some nitrites, I did just a little seeding 1 filter cart on my whisper 60.
well this tuesday will be 2 weeks so Ill keep up with it and hopefully get some nitrite reading in the next week
day 13 I finally got a nitrite reading of .25ppm ammonia 3-4ppm
day 14 Today Nitrite 3-4ppm ammonia 1ppm so I added alittle more ammonia today

Day 15 ammonia .5 ppm nitrite 4-5ppm added some more amm. (1/4 teaspoon) after adding ammonia 1ppm after 1 hour going to add another 1/4 teaspoon. Thanks Kasakato for your input and help.. w fishless...
