Looks rather like some kind of Vesicularia to me - Tropica sells it. Pretty little water moss. I have some in my betta tank. From Asia - I want to say Thailand? I dunno.
Java moss. It can grow in almost any tank. You might be able to grow it in a dark closet with the light off. lol
It attaches itself to driftwood, rocks, gravel, other plants, even glass and ceramic. Given enough light, nutrient and time, it can get out of hand and become a pest.
Tough stuff. I've heard of it being dried out on an old hunk of wood that was in storage for a few years and coming back to life. people sometimes use it to make "trees" as such
