tank specs: 40 gal, amm-0 nitrIte-0 nitrate-15, 2 swordtails, 2 black mollies, 6 Black skirt tetras, 1 pleco, 1 ropefish, 2 Zdanios. 7 plants.
OK, about a week ago i noticed a large chunck of one of my black skirts tail fin was missing, since then small white tufts have appeared around the dmgd area and seem to be spreading. I tryed treating with quickcure for three days with no results. I'm now seeing signs on my mollies and a little on other tetras. I'm looking for the best and cheapest way to cure this and I really dont want to kill my plants, i also really dont want to remove my plants at this time with no place to put them. it doesnt seem to be spreading very fast at all. If anyone has any advice on how to deal with this without losing my beloved plants that would be gr8.
Thanx
