Help with a Gourami problem.

Okay today I picked up a pair of Florida Flag Fish from a LFS. Well when they went in the tank they seemed to be fine. However my Honey Gourami seems to have been taken with the brighter one, and constantly brushes up against him and now is trying to wrap himself around him. When the other Flag comes by he quickly chases him away. The bright one is doing his best to just ignore the Gourami and pick at algae and stuff. Neither of the fish have bite marks or any obvious damage that I can tell.

Is there any way to make my Gourami realize the Flag Fish is not his mate?

Even if this were the case of mistaken mating. It wouldn't really matter unless of course theuy start to become injured. I can think of no way to prevent this from happening.

why would you want to stop something natural? just let them work it out.

Well I dunno about natural I doubt many Honey Gourami's come in contact with Flag fish in natue hehe.

My only concern is the GOurami stressing out the Flag Fish he's chasing or over tiring him etc...

My honey gourami did that to my flying foxes. The smallest one I had to end up moving as the gourami would corner hima nd hold him in the corner, slapping him with his feelers. Funny tow atch but I am sure the fox didn't like it.The bigger flying fox would hide in the plants and scoot out occasionally.

Other than moving the fish I couldn't come up with a way to stop it.
