Help with Angelfish newly hatched fry

My son and wife have had two spawnings with their pair of Angel Fish in a community tank. The first was on the filter tube which was moved into a 10 gallon with parents and they started eating the eggs...The second the tube was taken out without the parents and they have hatched to wigglers right now. No free swimmers yet. He is new to aquariums and breeding. I told him I would post and ask about raising the fry. He doesn't want to pu the parents back in the 10 gallon for fear they will eat the young. Can they be raised without parents? When they are free swimmers what should be fed besides baby brine shrimp? Any help would be appreciated... I have had aquariums before but haven't had any luck with angels. The wigglers hatched yesterday May 14, 2004

Provide food only when they are free-swimming. Baby brine is the best and can be supplemented with fry food or finely crushed flake. Best to keep them from the parents, they will be fine.
Frequent small feedings throughout the day are best as are regular small water changes, every day or two for best growth.

For the first two weeks or so, I would change 20% of the water every day. I've raised a few spawns of angelfish myself, and have noticed that good filtration and water changes are essential for developing fry.

If you have a mature air-driven sponge filter, that is the best system for a fry tank, because the microorganisms in the sponge actually give the fry something to snack on between meals.
