My ph is always fine in my tank and I believe my LFS premixed water has calcium in it b/c my calcium is always actually a little high and I never add calcium, just water changes.

But my KH is always about half what it's supposed to be. It's usually around 4.5 to 5.5 instead of 8-10. Any ideas on how to increase my KH w/o increasing my calcium or PH.

thanks.

Hi, I use kent marine superbuffer dkh. It will keep your ph right and raise your kh. The reason you ca is high is that you kh is low and your corals can't take it out of suspension as well as they could if you had the proper ph. Don't worry to much about an over dose of calcium it'll come out of solution.
