I woke up this morning to find my reef tank a milky white. When I went to bed last night the water was perfectly clear.

The tank is about 10 months old. The parameters this morning were: NH3=0, NO2 = 0, pH =8.2, SG=1.025, Temp=82.0 F (nothing out of the ordinary). It is 120g dual overflow w/ 20 g sump. I have a Euroreef skimmer, and Blueline external pump feeding 4 returns (pump is rated at 1700 g/hour). I also have a Penguin powerhead.

All my fish and inverts are intact. I did notice that my sebae anemone was contracting this morning, and white stringy "goo" was coming from it. It hasn't contracted in quite a while. Is this what is causing the cloudiness in the tank? If so, is it anything to worry about? I am getting ready to do a 15 g water change, and I'll do another one tonight, but it takes awhile to change out 120 g.

Here is a picture of the anemone yesterday when it was fully extended (I was lucky I decided to take it yesterday):

This is what it looks like this morning - an it is still contracting:

Any ideas or suggestions?
