Help with Columbian Sharks

how many did you have in the 200? i was thinking about 3 - 5, but i was hoping to avoid getting a tank that large.

i have lots of experience with mollies and guppies and i just need something more exciting/different.

Mollies and Guppies are very easy to keep if you want something a little more exciting try getting some gouramies or cichlids. Be careful what you get though as some can get big as for the sharks though they are too advanced if all you have done is livebearers

Don't want this to turn into a Molly discussion but they are the cool abnormal fish that seems to be able to adapt to all type of water, though they do best in water that has a higher TDS (not necessarily saltwater).

Exactly, but TDS is a really difficult concept to explain to some people and most that advocate salt for high TDS fish won't believe you anyhow.

I usually try to avoid those kind of discussions
