I just setup my DIY c02, and everything is air tight but it doesn't seem to be producing any bubbles, i has been about 6 hours almost and nuttin yet I used the resipe in the sticky ( 3cups sugar, 1 teaspoon of yeast), however i didn't have any baking soda but i rad elsewhere it was optional, is this why it's not working??? Any suggestions. It's a 2l bottle that tuns thru a DIY bubble counter made out of a 600ml pop bottle.

It usually takes mine atleast 12 hours to start producing bubbles.

can u guys give me a god and descriptive recipe to do this cuz i believe i am doing everything right but it still isn't working, i am using white granulated sugar and bakers yeast

I don't know about DIY CO2, but just from making bread, you can kill the yeast by using water that's too hot. Also if you've had your yeast sitting around a while, it may stop working.

the yeast is brand new.
so if the yeast is dead them i'm screwed and have to make a new mix then?? there is no way to bring it back? and so what temp water shoud i use??? like the same temp as the aquarium water??
