Hi,
I'm using a 15G tank housing Live-bearers(Guppy+platys) * 5 and 4 * Zebra danio with Lighting of 20W (6500K).The Light is on for around 10 Hours a day. No added CO2 & Coarse Gravel as substrate as i'm only using hardy plant species.
I'm using a Top-filter(steel-wool+Bio-balls) with a power-head of 700 Litres/Hr flow rate to power it.
For the past 2 months some black particles are appearing on my Anubias. These can be scrapped of the leaves when i do partial water changes every week but they re-appear again. What could be the cause? I have attached pic with the post.
Also, some green moss/algae has grown on my bogwood (shown in 2nd pic) . Should i worry about the moss/algae? What are the treatment options? Or should i let it be?
Have got hold of some Hydrilla(Hydrilla Verticillata). Do i need to plant it in the gravel or can it just float at the surface?
Any help/feedback & suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Swaroop,

Lot of Algea? Steel wool could be the problem - Algea love iron- Change the filter media to synthetic
