Help with Filter Decision

Hey,

I'm planning on setting up a 55 gal fish only tank...I dont know wether to go with a Tetratec PF500 filter, or a Marineland Emperor 400. Has anyone had success with the Emperors?...I hear they are pretty good.

Right now i have a 20gal fish only set up (saltwater too) I have it with a Tetratec PF150 and so far so good...But I just wanted to get whatever is better so...any help is greatly appreciated

I'd get a good skimmer instead. I reccommend an Aqua C Remora or a Coralife. Avoid the Seaclone. Prizm, and Visi-jet.

Sarge...both filters you mentioned are fine for a mediums size FO set up. A skimmer is a good idea as well.
