So I picked up several frags tonight from a local hobbyist who was selling them CHEAP. 4 frags to be exact and a rock covered with green metallic mushrooms. These are my first corals, so I'm new to this. Most came mounted on plugs or attached to small bits of live rock and I've acclimated and placed them with no problems. However I'm not quite sure how to handle the frogspawn frag. It is a small single head frag which he fragged on the spot for me and it is not mounted on a frag plug or piece of rock. Also, the break on it is jagged and I think I'd have a hard time trying to glue it to a rock. How should I handle this? Can I just stick it upright in the sand? Do I have to epoxy it to rock? Should I try to clean up the jagged break somehow?
