i discovered this odd looking thing on my fiji rock today it looks just like the rock and looks like a shell like thing that opens and it also seems like it has a beak on the front end. its really hard like rock and moves up and down slowly from a gap in the rock. i tried to feed it a brine shrimp like coral but no response.

i really want to know if it is a threat for any of my inhabitants.

hehe, that's kind of what I was thinking, but I was hoping for a more specific reply :grinyes:

I'll try and take some more photos during daylight.
Although there aren't really any other angles to get photos from the way the rock is positioned.

i tried taking some more pics but not really getting any better ones than this, can't get another anfle without taking the set up apart and taking the rock out of the water. any ideas, i looked up clams, mussels and oysters and can't find anything that looks like it. any more ideas?
