Okay, so I bought a used 40 gallon acrylic tank that is an older tank but good one. I want to build a canopy and install lights strong enough to have plants. What kind of lights should I get that won't be ruined by the water? I have heard that lights could be too hot for the acrylic top? Any help would be appreciated.
