p.s. all juvie shrimp and 4 total berried...well now 3.

What were your water parameters? How long have the shrimps been in your tank? Have you added any chemicals? I doubt the snails have anything to do with the shrimps. I never heard of snails being capable of such thing.

water prams were 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 5 nitrate no chemicals they have been fine for about a month now. and the only chemical i do is prime. thats it. try lowering the temp? to what?

Maybe you had some old ones that were at the end of their time. I don't know how long they live.

Q

im allternating between algae wafers to omega one flakes. is that ok for them? im going to try some boiled cucumber...see if they like that. and about the age thing...i dont think its that...i mean i got these shrimp from mgamer like a month ago..and they were tiny and the ones that are berried...well....its their first time.

that food should be fine. They were not old either. Very odd. What kind of snails are in the tank? Is it possible they are outcompeting the shrimp for their food? Does the tank have planaria?

hum...its very possilble on the snails out competing!!! and im ashamed to say. i dont know what planaria is. and mgamer said the snails i have are just the common ramshorn? or pond snail? they arent very interesting. lol if i could i would get rid of the things. but oh well...it seems that no more have died so far...but im keeping an eye...they are swimming around right now playing on the java moss and just enjoying life...and here is another question how long till they turn red? all of them are still clear looking. if i didnt know where i had bought them i would call them ghost shrimp...but i know they are cherry becuase they came from mgamer. so how long till they turn red?
