Hey guys, I just picked up a little frag of the greenstar. Its detracted, but im sure not for long. Im wondering where I should place this lil guy. I did some brief research on the net, and found opposing recommendations on light and waterflow. Any advice would help. Right now I have them about an inch off the sand bed in the base of a lil cave of live rock. Id like them to grow in to a door for the cave that fish can exit and enter, if they so choose.....

Hello
I have mine up high in the tank and he is very happy. Retracted at night and fully extended during the day. I am running compact fluorescent lights, not MH. Good Luck

Same here. Sometimes mine are extended at night too. I got MH's and moon lights.
