Hi there, i've just bought some turtle, can you please tell me after how many days we need to go for a water change and if they can support temperature below 17 degrees Celsius without a heater. Thks

17C = 62F. what kind of turtles? thats too cold for every turtle i know of, besides for hibernation. turtles dont need water changes like fish, as they dont breath water (nitrites and that stuff dont matter). all the water should be changed at least once a week, assuming you have one baby in a ten gallon
Their eyes are in the water though. Regular water changes should be maintained weekly still like you said.
First of all we're going to need to know what species of turtle you have. Most water turtles are comfortable in water that is in the mid 70's (F.) Water turtles are messy creatures that should have their water changed at least once a week and you will need a very strong filtration to keep it clean.
all turtles require clean water as this makes them happy and healthy. All pets should need the equal amount of fresh resource. So your turtle needs half water and land unless you have a log for its size to get out of land and to bask.

Lets say i know the way of force, I had lots of experience of turtles and i'm only 16. I found a baby red ear slider myself and raised it til this day on.
