I am about all out of space for more tanks. I have room for a 20G Long. I want to get into cichlid breeding. Is it possible for me to try on such a small scale? And have dither fish? Does any one have any experience with this? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.:)

You could raise one pair of apistos and six glowlight or white cloud tetras in there. However, the dithers will be harassed once the apistos spawn.

I have rams, and they are breeding like crazy in my ten gallon tank plus I have about 6 young guppies in the tank. my rams completely ignore the guppies as long as they don't get to close to the eggs.

The point is the lack of grow-out tank... you will absolutely have to have one if you go with rams. You might try a pair of apisto borelli. They don't have many offspring - perhaps 15-20. They might be able to live and grow up in the same 20g tank. They do take a year to mature though so it's lots of water changes!

OK so I went to the LFS today. I trust this one a lot. Very knowledgeable staff. They directed me to Pelvichromis Taeniatus " Nyete. " They had a paired set, so I took both of them. I've been looking on the internet and not much info on breeding. I know they are a pair of West African dwarf cave spawners. Does any one know any info on breeding or anything else on these fish? Thanks in advance.:)
