help with snail's

ok so my snail shells look bad and they stopped breeding so I was calcium would fix this I have hard water so what do I need to feed to fix this?

Magnesium is essential and often in short supply even in hard water. A bit of epsom salts would add Mg. I had similar issues, although my goal wasn't to keep the snails but grow plants. I added some for the plants and the side benefit was that the snails shells stopped eroding. I'd add a quarter teaspoon of Epsom salt (MgSO4. 7H2O) per 10 gallons. That would put it to a good level of Mg for the tank volume especially if you dose the nominal volume of your tank.
